It is a rainy Monday morning here but I am trying to get myself motivated for the day. It is my turn for my Monday Morning Inspiration for Loves Rubberstamps. One cup #2 of coffee already.
Today I am showcasing an oldie but goody stamp from CC Designs called Lula Big Heart. I am loving the aqua/teal blue with yellow combo. This paper is from my stash that I had forever but I think it is DCVW. The paper is very sparkly in person which is why I keep the embellishments to a minimum.
This one may be a challenge for some of you so hope you enjoy getting out of your comfort zone ,
This week challenge is
Mixed Media Canvas/Portrait
Our wonderful sponsor this week is ..
I decided to do this on a wooden plaque I had lying around. I colored the image with my Copics and then use Mod Podge to glue it to the wooden plaque. I then added stickles, gems and a rub-on quote from my stash.
Here is to my final inspiration for Inky Impressions. It has been a great four months and I have really enjoyed my stay.
Today I used the image, Nurse Lili. I used some scraps of MME paper I had to make this one. I paper pieced her dress and used my Cricut cart to make the background. I colored the image with my Copics too.
I have recently added to my SOG collection and decided to participate in this month's sketch challenge. The month is soon coming to an end so I better get this card up.
Now this is really some clearing of my stash since I have had these papers in my collection from CTMH for about 3-4 years...LOL!
I decided to use the technique that I saw on Rosie blog about making your own plaid outfit. A bit tricky then I thought since I do not have the steadiest of hands but happy about it overall. Made the flower from my stash of Mulberry paper and the MFT rolled flower die I have and charm is from my stash.
I will be entering this card into the following challenge:
Create an outdoor scene or use things that grow in the great outdoors - Flowers, Wildlife, Trees, Plants, etc!
For this card I decided to use the Whimsy Stamps-Sunset Rose. I did paper piecing and sponged the colors on the background to get the effect of a setting sun. The Sentiment stamps is also from Whimsy Stamps as well.
The paper is from MME.
I will also be entering this card into the following challenges:
I will also be using this card as my entry for the the GDT post for Whimsy Stamps. I love all the variety and the fantastic artists that Whimsy has and would love to be a guest DT for a month. I believe that I can do a steller job with these fantastic images and love to promote them as much as possible.
Welcome back everyone to my blog. It is Monday morning so that means it is time to start off the weekly with my Loves Rubberstamps Inspirations. I am in a bit of a rush to get this done this morning. My youngest has her class trip to the aquarium and I am going along as a chaperone.
Today I am featuring another adorable image from MFT-Pure Innocence line called CuteAtude. Isn't she adorable.
The paper is from MME collection and I colored the image with my Copics.
Shadowed with E43
I will also be entering this one into MFT Weekly Wednesday Sketch.
My monthly Guest DT time is up over at Simply Steampunk Challenges. It has been a blast being a guest this month but it will not be the last of me they see over there.
Today I just decided to do a cover for a book I had. I am trying to be better about keeping a Copic List book of different combo I like so I do not have to reinvent the wheel each time.
This is also the first time I managed to figure out how to merge two digital images together!!!! Yeah for me.
I know I am bit behind the times but I am very excited about this.
The image is called Gwendolyn. The digital in the background is Simply Betty House of Usher Digi. I put them together and this is what I got. What do you think? This took sooo many colors I am did not right them down. PS. the stars I used Crystal Stickles for. I like that effect and it is prettier in person.
Have a great day everyone and THANK YOU AGAIN to SIMPLY STEAMPUNK for allowing me to be a Guest DT.

I am back again! Have a bunch of cards to add this week and figured I better get to it.
Not too long ago I discovered a newer stamp company called Yumi and Fumi Handmade and just love their images. These are some of the sweetest DT members (since some are now my bloggy friends) and I know how hard it is to try to get your product out there at times.
This month they have a special called Spread the Love and another AMAZING giveaway so be sure to enter into the challenge. It is ANYTHING GOES WITH A YUMI & FUMI STAMP.
I was in a boy crafting moods decided to ink this up and color away. This image is called AJ . I had this various papers in my stash for awhile so it was nice to use them up. The green paper is from Stampin Up and the ribbon was in my stash as well as the brads and the stickers. I recently got some wood veneers at Michaels so decided to throw these in.

Happy Sunday Everyone. Got to sleep in a bit today which was really needed after my Girl Scout Trip with my Brownies...I forgot how unforgiving sleeping on a sleeping bag on a hard floor and 13 excited 8 -9 years old girls with you can be.
But I think it was a fun time for all and hope they enjoy their first overnight trip. The Philadelphia Zoo is fabulous if anyone wants to go visit.
Our sponsor this week is Dilly Beans Stamps who was generous enough to allow the DT to use one of her images for our projects.
Here is my tag. I cut the tag out on my Cricut but I forgot which cartridge I used. Inked all the sides with CTMH ink, Pacifica. There was a fabulous sale at Michaels the other day and bought this paper there and used Prima Flowers from my stash and a doily too. I just recently got a bottle of liquid pearls to try and decided to try it out here....still have to figure out how to use it to it optimum potential but like the effect of it.
Colored the Image with my Copics
I will also be entering this tag into the following challenges:
Not sure if some of you guys are part of the ning community that the Some Odd Girl created but they have frequent mini challenges. This week it was color on kraft...does not need to be full card just a colored image.
SOOO...hold onto your seats peeps...I created a Clean and Simple Card on Kraft. I am soo happy with how it turned out that I decided to post it here too.
Well what do you think? This is a stamp set called Romantic Gwen. Stamped with Memento Ink. Sentiment comes with the set. Add pearls in me stash and the ribbon is from my one of my DT members shop, Crafty City
Back again for another Guest Designing Day at Simply Steampunk Challenges. Today I am showcasing another of the image from the Original Steampunk Series called Emma.
